Your Voice Will Be Heard

You now have the opportunity to ensure that arts are effectively nurtured and allowed to prosper as an essential part of our daily lives. When you become a member of NCA you help to:

  • Provide important arts information to local, state and national elected officials, as well as to the arts community and other Nevadans like you;
  • Recommend changes in and formulate new legislation that encourages increased funding favorable to the arts;
  • Support the local interests of our membership that fosters a strong environment where arts activity thrives;
  • Conduct and distribute surveys of political candidates and their views concerning the state of the arts in Nevada;
  • Coordinate events, receptions, forums and other special functions in support of the arts statewide.
  • Educate the arts constituency and their supporters about how to include the interests of the arts in a broader community dialogue.

NCA's activities are governed by a nonprofit board of directors made up of Nevada citizens from across the state, who like you, recognize the important role the arts play in finding solutions to the social, economic and political agendas of our lives. A contract administrator and lobbyist staff the NCA, with financial support that comes almost exclusively from membership dues.
